Mysore Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga yoga is a traditional method of yoga originating in Mysore, India that links ujjayi breath
(breathing technique) with a flowing sequence of asanas (yoga postures). Ashtanga students receive
individualized instruction in a group setting and move at their own pace, receiving guidance and
adjustments by the teacher. Engaging in this practice sows the seeds of equanimity and self-
awareness and cultivates the soil for a lifetime journey of mining one’s depths and discovering
freedom in body and mind.
